To learn more about the two of us, check out our about page! Generally, Emi does organizational and writing modding, while Arti does formatting. The other mods we work with vary from project to project, and will always be listed on the mods page for that specific zine! I've been writing fanfic since about 2010, and participating in zines since 2022! I moderated the Danganronpa Amino from 2021 to EOS, and have editing/proofreading experience professionally, academically, and personally. I especially love yuri and messy, morally complex characters. My all-time favorite characters are Himiko and Korekiyo from Danganronpa, and Sollux, Eridan, and Mituna from Homestuck. Guidelines
This page mostly contains general guidelines that apply to all of the zines we run! If there are any unique guidelines specific to a current project, they'll be clearly labeled with the name of the zine. Application guidelines can also be found below!

| All applicants must provide at least three samples, and can optionally include a portfolio. |
| At least one sample is strongly encouraged to match the zine's theme. |
| Artists' samples should be finished works (no sketches) with backgrounds and should represent the art style that would be used for the zine. |
| Writers' samples should be roughly within the zine's word count of 1.5k to 3k words. At least one should be a complete oneshot. Others may be excerpts of longer works, but should still be understandable on their own. |
| Links should all be accessible for the mod team to view! If your samples cannot be viewed and we can't get in touch with you, we will unfortunately have to reject you. |
| Any sensitive or NSFW content in samples or portfolios should be tagged/warned for accordingly. |
Be kind! Bullying, harassment, bigotry, and other such behavior will not be tolerated in the project. Anyone who cannot be respectful of their fellow contributors and mods is subject to removal.
All pieces created for the zine must be your own original work, created without any AI assistance. Plagiarism of any kind will not be tolerated. You may not reuse existing pieces for the zine.
All pieces must follow the theme of the zine.
We ask that you keep your pieces private for the duration of the project, until mods give the all clear for posting.
When joining the project, you are agreeing to follow the schedule as set to the best of your ability. We understand things come up and are happy to accommodate extensions within reason, but repeatedly missing deadlines, especially without communication, may jeopardize your place in the zine.
Likewise, contributors are expected to check the Discord server regularly for any announcements that require their attention.
We ask that all contributors are 18+ by the close of contributor applications.
We do not perform "background checks" on applicants and don't care about things like the size of your following or what type of content you enjoy outside the scope of the zine, but if something truly egregious comes to our attention (e.g., harassment, hate speech, etc.) we will take action as we see fit.

Q. What is a zine?
A zine is a collection of art, writing, and/or other creative works assembled into a book, centered around a particular theme.Q. Will this zine be digital or physical?
At this time, all our zines are digital only!Q. How old do I need to be to apply?
We ask that all contributors are 18+ by the close of the application period.Q. How many contributors will you be accepting?
Final results depend on the number and quality of applications we receive, but as ballpark numbers, we hope to accept 20-25 page artists, 5-10 writers, and 3-5 merch artists.Q. Will headcanons such as trans headcanons, diverse body types, etc be allowed?
As a general rule of thumb, headcanons are just fine as long as the characters are still clearly recognizable as themselves. If a contributor has any concerns about a specific case, the mods are happy to discuss!Q. Will I get an email even if I’m not accepted?
Yes, every applicant will receive an email informing them of their results.Q. My question wasn’t listed here!

Q. Will this zine be free?
For both Our Delirium and Every Beautiful Thing, this will be determined by the interest check. They will be either free or for charity.Q. What compensation will be offered to contributors?
As our zines are digital and not for profit, there will be no compensation beyond access to the full digital bundle.Q. Will this zine be SFW?
Yes! Our Delirium will be completely SFW. Every Beautiful Thing may have an optional NSFW add-on, depending on the results of the interest check.Q. Will this zine feature AUs?
This will be determined by the interest check.Q. Are poly ships allowed?
Yes, of course! Both Our Delirium and Every Beautiful Thing welcome poly ship content, so long as all members of the polycule are canonically female.
